christmas vacation, part 3

new year's eve
new year's eve started with dinner at my parents' with the fridys and erik & colleen. we got good and full before heading to cliff et al's for craziness. spent the evening sucking down grapefruit juice & vodka and cava. yum! took some good pictures, had some good fun, all in all, a good new year's eve. luckily, jp managed to control himself and drove me home. we get home and i change into pjs and jp makes me waffles (frozen). i put on my glasses and we watch some tv while eating our waffles. but i couldn't really see anything. it was really weird...i've never been too drunk to see like that. so i fall asleep on the couch, jp drags me to bed, and i sleep.
new year's day
i sleep until 11:30 (!) and wake up to realize something. i still have my contacts in. last night, when i couldn't see anything, i had my contacts in and my glasses on. that would explain it.
i'm also sore and have some pretty bad bruises on my arms. jp asks me if it's from my falling up the stairs the night before (yes, up). i figure it probably is. so i spend the day on the couch, feeling crappy. jp cooks me dinner and life is good.
