gas silliness

If we all don't buy gas tomorrow (for National Don't Buy Gas Day or whatever they're calling it), won't we all just have to get gas on Wednesday?

Why don't we really hurt the oil companies and all not drive one day? Maybe take the bus to work one day a week. Or drive 10 miles less a week for a year. That might actually get 'em. I highly doubt the price of a barrel of oil would fluctuate because of one days' gas sales. And even if it did, it would go right back up once demand was back up. We have to reduce demand in the long run to have prices fall.

Who's up for trying to eliminate global warming and stick it to the oil companies with me?
